The PMS color system is used to match and add beautiful colors to
custom imprinted gifts, masonic, lapel, pins, pin, coins, challenge,
coffee, mug, pens Colors may vary
among different computer monitors. If the Masonic lapel pin, Masonic coin or
other Masonic Promotional Product or gift requires imprinting in
color. The PMS chart offers an abundance of colors to choose
from. However most of the time a standard color like red, green,
blue, black and yellow are less expensive to print with because they do
not require the factory to mix the colors.
The Pantone Matching System was created to make a
uniform standard for spot colors. There can be very drastic differences in color
when you choose a PMS color and then print the job as four-color process or
CMYK. It is highly recommended that if you are going to print four-color, and
you have chosen a Pantone color to match, that you have a PMS book that shows a
four-color swatch next to the PMS color so you will be aware of possible color
shifts. This chart is to give you an idea of the PMS Colors... use a PMS book
for an accurate match.
